Job description Academic Knowledge are currently seeking maths graduates and professional for freelance projects. We receive many orders related to maths or statistical problems from our customers, but we struggle to assign these orders appropriately due to a lack of maths graduates on our books. So if you have an analytical mind for numbers, an academic qualification in maths and a skill for presenting work academically, then we’d love to hear from you...
As a mathematics writer with us, you’ll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of mathematical research projects including mathematical-related essays, sets of questions, dissertations, reports, research projects and other common written tasks for maths.
Requirements
We require all our researchers to have a recognised university degree to at least a 2:1 level. The reality is that most of our researchers are qualified at Master’s level and above, and have extensive experience of working within a mathematical environment. We welcome new researchers with degrees in Mathematics, Statistics, Mechanics, Physics, Operational Research and Actuary.
To be eligible to apply for this vacancy you must have:
- A minimum of a 2:1 undergraduate degree or equivalent (60%+)
- Excellent written English skills
Earnings
As this role is freelance, the earnings are based upon the hours worked, the standard of work completed and the number of words written each day. You can use the calculator to gain an idea of the rates of pay we are able to obtain for you.
